Chapter Philanthropy

Eta Gamma has adopted breast cancer awareness as a part of our local philanthropy. Every year, we have sisters who take part in the Susan G. Komen Three-Day Walk for the Cure.

Last October, together with the men of Beta Theta Pi, Eta Gamma hosted our first annual Surf for the Cure philanthropy event. The event was aimed at breast cancer awareness and was filled with information booths, carnival games, and a surf competition. Together we raised over $2,000 that was donated to the Shades of Pink Foundation CA and Scripps Polster Breast Care Center

This last April, Eta Gamma hosted it's first annual Kappa Kampus Feud where other Greek chapters and student organizations were grouped in teams and competed against one another based on a survey taken by 100 USD students.
